frequently asked questions
Why is communication so important in the Intelligent Management offering?
Troubled relationships and fractures in teamwork in business often trace back to communication breakdowns. Problems in communication can have an adverse impact on: costs, risks, job satisfaction, customer service, individual performance, corporate performance, stress, and absences. Better communication enhances: customer relationships, supplier relationships, teamwork, creativity, loyalty, clarity, reliability, and staff retention.
Of course, all outside companies say they deliver tangible benefits. How can Intelligent Management make this claim with regard to assisting with stress management?
There are very real commercial reasons for tackling stress in the workplace. Not least reduction of absenteeism; less likelihood of healthcare of litigation costs; lower staff turnover; less injury and sickness.
OK, but you even make the claim that management training and development saves money. How do you work that out?
Your organisation’s underperforming individuals and teams and staff resignations incur hidden costs that soon add up. Imagine the costs in losing a member of staff. Not just direct costs in terms of money and effort, but indirectly in terms of time, energy and money spent on advertising, interviewing, and getting a new member of staff integrated into the business and up to speed.
Intelligent Management’s mediation, mentoring and advisory services reduce the cost of such problems and increase effectiveness.

How do you work within a company or organization? One to one? Within a team?
Both. We are experienced in working one to one at the most senior level often dealing with some extremely sensitive management issues. We also provide a forum for groups of managers by way of a safe place where they can to talk about what is happening in the organisation, i.e. what they may be grappling with and what challenges and difficulties occur. Unlike the usual type of training workshop, this period is ring-fenced and tailor-made to address their specific issues.
Why would we use Intelligent Management? What makes you different from other training companies?
